Ross founded Scribe Development in 2019 with the intent to redefine residential development as a venture that can bring value to a neighborhood while tastefully maintaining its history and charm. As a native Washingtonian, Ross has a deep knowledge of the District’s real estate markets and a commitment to creating high-end products that bolster communities across the city and surrounding suburban neighborhoods.
Ross oversees Scribe Development’s capitalization needs and property acquisitions, bringing experience from both the construction and brokerage aspects of real estate. Prior to founding Scribe Development, Ross held roles in both commercial brokerage and on-site construction management with one of the largest cast-in-place concrete construction groups in North America. Ross lives in Capitol Hill with 3 boys and his wife. He loves finding fun dining and drinking experiences around the city and is an avid Caps fan.
Deegan oversees financial and accounting operations, focusing on accountability and business metrics. In addition to his role in locating and analyzing new business, Deegan also manages the construction process for projects focused on Capitol Hill. Deegan joined Scribe Development in 2019, bringing experience in both multifamily and residential real estate development in the DMV area. He lives in Capitol Hill.
Jacey joined Scribe Development in 2020 and oversees development projects in Northwest DC and Maryland. In addition to her project management role, Jacey helps lead the company’s design and branding efforts. Prior to joining Scribe, Jacey founded and ran a consulting firm focused on helping companies, government agencies and non-profits develop effective workforce and economic development strategies. Jacey has extensive experience working with a range of clients in the manufacturing and residential and commercial construction industries. In her free time, Jacey loves to ride horses, cook for friends and travel. She lives in DC with her husband and two sons.
Ester joined Scribe in 2021 and oversees property management across our apartment rental and home sales portfolios. As the sub-contractor liaison, Ester ensures positive tenant experiences and provides top notch customer service to our homeowners. Originally from Brazil, Ester moved to the US in 2015 and speaks fluent Portuguese and English. In her free time, she likes to travel, workout and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
